Triangular Bound Buttonholes
This workshop is conducted by ASG NJ member Anne Marie Soto who is also the former editor of ASG Notions magazine and the author of many sewing articles and books, including "Simplicity's Simply the Best Sewing Book" (1988 and 2001 editions).
Supplies you need to bring:
Sewing machine in good working order
Extension cord with power strip
Basic sewing supplies
Brown bag lunch
Cookies to share - home-baked OR store-bought
Container if you want to take any "left-over" cookies home
Kits for making sample buttonholes
Take-home instructions for buttonhole techniques
Coffee, tea, sugar, artificial sweetener, milk, napkins, plates, hot water
Refreshments: Mid-afternoon coffee and tea will be provided. Please bring a dessert to share.
Stash for Cash: Your sewing room overflow may be someone else’s sewing treasure. Fabrics, patterns, books, notions . . . bring them along! We ask that you leave a donation of 25¢ per item that you take home. The money collected goes into our chapter treasury for future programs.
