Welcome to the Northern New Jersey Chapter of the American Sewing Guild. If you love to sew or want to learn more about sewing, then you have come to the right place!
The American Sewing Guild is a national non-profit organization dedicated to advancing sewing as an art and life skill. Its purpose is to provide information, education and programs for its members and the community. The ASG also provides current sewing news, techniques and networking opportunities for sewers of every skill level.
We currently have ten neighborhood groups and we are growing. Each neighborhood group will pick their own community service project to work on. We love to help all our friends in need right in our own back yards.
Membership in the American Sewing Guild is $40 for new members and $35 for renewing members. Benefits of joining the ASG include a subscription to Notions the national quarterly publication, and to our Chapter newsletter. You will also receive discounts to various retailers, including JoAnn stores; and you will meet and make friends with others who have an enthusiasm for sewing. Membership in the guild is open to the public.
You may join the American Sewing Guild online and designate Northern New Jersey as your chapter. As a Chapter member, you will receive our quarterly newsletter, Seams to Us, and can attend any of our neighborhood groups for free. You will also receive a discounted price to our annual Spring Fling and will be notified of a variety of sewing events, both locally and nationally.
